Buy a Powerball ticket over the weekend in KY? You could hold 1 of 3 big winners
If you made a Powerball ticket purchase in Kentucky for the April 6 drawing, now would be a good time to double-check your numbers.
Three big winning tickets were sold in Kentucky, but they remain unclaimed as of Monday afternoon.
According to a Kentucky Lottery press release, two tickets winning $150,000 each were purchased at a Quick Shop in Paducah and one $50,000 winning ticket was sold at Kroger in Harrodsburg.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 22, 27, 44, 52, 69 and Powerball 9.
The three tickets all matched four numbers and the Powerball, while the two $150,000 tickets also had a PowerPlay add-on feature, expanding the winnings, according to the press release.
If you are one of the three Kentucky Powerball winners from Saturday, you should sign the back of your winning ticket and keep it in a secure location before turning it into the state lottery to claim your prize. Winnings have to be claimed at Kentucky Lottery’s headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners have 180 days to claim their money.
