Baby drowns in pool at home in southern Kentucky
A 1-year-old baby died after drowning in a pool at his home in Whitley County on Friday.
The child was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health in Corbin after being found in the pool, Kentucky State Police said. The Whitley County coroner’s office pronounced him dead.
State police said they were called at 7:18 p.m.
Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley declined to identify the child.
