Forget Dry January: BourbonCon is returning to take whiskey fans in a very different direction.

The two-day Lexington celebration of all things bourbon will be Jan. 16 and 17 at the Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa on Newtown Pike.

The fourth edition of the event will feature tastings from more than 40 distilleries, interactive educational sessions, exclusive VIP experiences and more.

Tickets are available at bourconlex.com; prices range from $159 (per person for a single day general admission to the Bourbon Tasting Floor, mixology events, master distillery conversations, bourbon pairing food tastings and more) to $2,500 (for two people for the platinum plus package that allows first access to the rarest bottles, premium hospitality and VIP access all weekend.)

This year’s event includes:

  • The Bourbon Tasting Floor and Distillery experiences with samples from more than 40 official partners of bourbons, ryes, whiskeys and specialty pours, with brand ambassadors and distillery representatives on hand to talk craft, tour offerings and upcoming releases.
  • The VIP Speakeasy & Loft, an elevated bourbon experience with exclusive access to rare and allocated pours, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment in an intimate speakeasy setting.
  • Gourmet experiences and breakout sessions with chefs, master distillers, brand ambassadors, historians and mixologists.
  • Special events including the Bootleggers Banquet, a Prohibition-era inspired four-course dinner featuring premium bourbons and live interactive entertainment; Rolling Leaf Mobile Cigar Lounge, a refined space to enjoy premium cigars paired with bourbons; a bottle auction & Griffin’s Liquor Vault, opportunities to bid on rare bottles and purchase select products to take home.
