Missing Northern Kentucky student found dead after month of searching

Murry Foust, a student at Northern Kentucky University who was declared missing on April 27, has been found dead, according to the Wilder Police Department.

Foust, 22, was found by “an independently organized search party” after a month-long search at 1 Steel Road, the department said in a statement on Sunday. There is no current evidence of foul play, according to the department.

The Wilder Police Department, Covington City Police Department and Campbell County Coroner’s Office are actively investigating the scene.

The coroner has not yet determined the cause of death for Foust.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the Foust family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. While we are saddened by this loss, we hope this development can provide the family with some answers and a measure of closure,” Wilder police said.
