Pharrell just dropped $30 million on sweet ‘quarantine’ digs in Coral Gables: report
Welcome to the neighborhood, Pharrell.
We think you’re going to like it here, once the quarantine is lifted.
Even so, the “Happy” singer’s new digs sound pretty good for just chillaxing like a couch potato for months on end.
The New York Post reports that Pharrell just plunked down a cool a $30 million home in Coral Gables.
The nine bedroom, 17,025-square-foot waterfront manse — reportedly located in the 700 block of Casuarina Concourse — was originally listed for $45 million in 2018, so the music star got a sweet deal.
“He had been looking for a while, but he made a move quickly because he wanted to be quarantined there,” a source told the paper of the rapper, who also co-owns Swan restaurant in the Design District with Dave Grutman.
His quarantine quarters include wine cellar, library, fireplace, elevator, pool, boat house and more.
Again, don’t ask for an invite. At least until the lockdown ends .
Pharrell isn’t a new South Florida resident. In 2016, the hip-hop producer sold his Brickell penthouse at Bristol Tower for $9.25 million. He had another, smaller unit there he sold for $415,000.
Dennis Carvajal of One Sotheby’s International Realty, brokered the deal, reports The Post. He did not return a call from the Miami Herald seeking comment Thursday.
