Severe storms ripped across Kentucky on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, leaving behind destruction and a chance of flooding in the coming days.
As of Thursday morning, two tornadoes had been confirmed by the National Weather Service: one in Louisville, in the Middletown community along Blankenbaker Parkway, and another near Murray.
More tornadoes could be confirmed in the coming days, and the chance for severe weather will last through the weekend.
After heavy rain, and near-constant rain forecasted over the coming days, flooding also becomes a concern across the state.
