More winter weather could blanket the commonwealth Sunday night and into Monday.

A snow system is expected to move through late Sunday, bringing a mix of rain and snow early Monday, according to the Louisville National Weather Service.

The NWS predicts a half-inch of snow will fall around north Central Kentucky.

An analysis from WKYT Chief Meteorologist Chris Bailey shows the snowy weather impacting central and eastern areas of Kentucky.

Bailey said the system could bring some snow days and delays to the impacted areas as an arctic front follows behind.

Bailey expects about an inch of snowfall among southeastern counties.
