City must build up, not out
Lexington should start building up instead of spreading out. Midland Avenue would be a good example. With good planning, high-rise living, a 10-to 20-story complex would be a boost to more downtown living.
Many cities have done this: Louisville, Cinncinati, Nashville. Lexington has received many Top 10 rankings. Why not add another one for downtown living? With good landscaping, bike lanes and a good bus station location, Lexington could become more of showcase. Make Lexington a greater city.
