Eblen downplays job creation

Did it occur to anyone else that all of columnist Tom Eblen’s “solutions” to Kentucky’s lack of better jobs and higher wages involve taking money out of the pockets of ordinary working people?

How is taking money that I’ve earned and giving it to someone else going to create jobs? How is taking food off my table going to raise someone else’s wages?

Increasing taxes to pay for more government employees, tax credits, child-care assistance doesn’t create new jobs, it just means that I and other taxpayers have less money we could spend on creating new jobs.
