The real anthem disrespect

With all the fuss and fury over NFL stars “disrespect” of the national anthem, I’m amazed at the total lack of discomfort and complaint over the butchering of our anthem at major sports events.

With all the swoops and squeals delivered by pop superstars, the pride of country expressed in that anthem is lost to the “artists” desire to focus attention on themselves.

And, by the way, Old Glory flies proudly outside our sunroom.
