Trump not so smart

Many voters say they support Trump because he is a successful businessman. As a CEO, he can insult, rant, alienate, threaten and say just about anything that pops into his head. We have witnessed his lack of self control. But being the leader of the free world requires finesse and a steady hand, especially in international diplomacy. Trump believes that he is smarter than the intelligence agencies and our military. He says NATO is obsolete. He is unsure if he would defend our allies in case of conflict. Will he choose which treaties he will honor? The most frightening position he holds is that nuclear weapons should not be ruled out as a military option. At the end of the Cold War the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. agreed that nuclear weapons meant mutually assured destruction and annihilation of the planet. The president is the only person in this country who can launch nuclear missiles even against best advice. God help America if Donald Trump is the one with the nuclear codes.
