Silent cowards
Catch a whiff of dead skunk and sour milk? That stink in the air could be cleared — but not by any deodorizer or stiff breeze — because it is the stink of cowardice.
Cowardice in the form of the silence of Sen. Mitch McConnell and Rep. Andy Barr who have not refuted the borderline seditious comments by their party’s presidential nominee about potentially failing to acknowledge the outcome of what will be a fair election.
Cowardice in the continued endorsement, tacit or explicit, of these two gentlemen and their colleague, Sen. Rand Paul (who at least vouched for the the election’s integrity) for the least libertarian and “most likely to be a fascist” presidential candidate in memory. A candidate who behaves less like a president than a predator, less a statesman than used-car salesman.
Yep, the smell of cowardice could be cleared away — just a few words, throwing away the trash.
