Paul guards Constitution
Dr. Rand Paul always puts the Constitution and the freedoms of American citizens first; this is one of many reasons I have always supported him. When our freedoms are brought into question, Paul does not hesitate to provide a common-sense solution that does not sacrifice our rights. While I support many Paul positions, repealing the Patriot Act is at the top. Paul has always been vocal about his opposition to the act and stood on the Senate floor for 10 hours fighting it.
Paul believes we can fight terrorism without sacrificing our liberties, something many politicians are too quick to forget. The Fourth Amendment is just as important as the First or Second. I am grateful the Senate has someone as patriotic as Paul to ensure unconstitutional acts get repealed. Paul stands up for all the amendments to the Constitution. He protects the rights of all Americans.
