Elect Judge Larry VanMeter
From 1985 to 2010, I was privileged to serve as a senior staff attorney for Kentucky Court of Appeals judges Paul Gudgel, Lewis Paisley and Larry VanMeter.
Although I approached my employment with VanMeter with some concern after he defeated Paisley in the 2003 election for his current position on the Court of Appeals, I soon learned for myself that VanMeter, like his predecessors, is an honest, forthright, intelligent, well-experienced judge who strives to be fair, respectful and nonpartisan while determining each case on its individual merits.
My high opinion of VanMeter’s integrity and qualifications was consistently reinforced during my six-plus years of closely working with him. Further, that opinion is shared by retired judges Gudgel and Paisley, who both support his campaign for election to the Kentucky Supreme Court.
Please join me in voting for VanMeter for the Kentucky Supreme Court on Nov. 8.
