Chuck Tackett dedicated representative

I worked this last session in Frankfort for the Legislative Research Commission and had the opportunity to observe the inner workings of both parties. This was Chuck Tackett’s only experience to date as our representative and I found his diligence and dedication to duty impeccable.

As other House members seemed to be joining forces for their respective parties and agendas, Chuck made it a point to meet as many members of both houses as possible with a spirit of cooperation. I was very impressed with his oratorical abilities before the chamber as well as in committee meetings. He’s not just a farmer as I have heard said.

I represented the Marine Corps League in support of Tackett’s pre-filled bill that would exempt the veterans organizations from property taxes. That’s a huge support for non-profit veterans’ organizations.

I support Tackett and encourage you to do so also.
