6th District can do better with Kemper

Nancy Jo Kemper is the best choice to represent the 6th District in Congress. As a minister and advocate for social justice, she has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of ordinary Kentuckians. As executive director of the Kentucky Council of Churches, she advocated at the state level to reform health care, taxes and pay-day lending, and on children’s issues, racial justice and minimum wage and living wage legislation.

Her opponent, Rep. Andy Barr, accepts donations from big banks and works tirelessly to free them from regulation, leaving the average citizen at their mercy. He attaches his name to feel-good bills that either don’t pass or accomplish nothing if they do.

I can testify that Kemper is motivated by a deep, sincere concern for other people. If you want the quality of life to improve for all Kentuckians, not just the privileged few, support Kemper on Nov. 8.
