Kemper helpful, real
Andy Barr is part of what’s broken, Mitch McConnell’s “No!” man in the House.
And nobody’s home. Vote to open new possibilities. Vote for Nancy Jo Kemper, someone with dignity and a willingness to listen to those who live in the real world here.
Barr’s arguments are based on myths about the possible bogeyman behind every door. His slick, well-spoken rebuffs make a decent, good-hearted opponent look helpless. But they cannot prove any assertion he makes. Complex geo-political issues like the Iran nuclear deal and our economic woes become clearly etched in his imaginary world with practiced, glib bluster.
All arguments are made on “what if’s,” raising fears or pointing fingers. Opposing arguments offering hope seem easily felled with the equivalent of a “Faw!” Hiding his complicity in creating what is. Fear closes doors. Hope opens doors.
Kemper is not helpless but helpful and real.
