Chicago’s model celebration
How refreshing it was to see millions of Chicagoans celebrate the long-awaited World Series championship of the Cubs by celebrating with each other, cheering the players along the parade route and in Grant Park, and generally rejoicing in the moment. How mature. No rioting. No burning couches. No destroying property. No looting stores. No police confrontation. A paradigm for fans of all teams to consider in the future.
