Speak up for voiceless

My fellow Kentuckians, with heavy heart I share with you this unfortunate truth: Our state is one of 13, that does not have a “Ratio Enforcement Code.” Many of our most vulnerable citizens are residing in long-term care facilities where there is not an adequate residents-to-staff ratio.

We cannot continue to allow this. Please contact both our legislators and congresspersons and let it be known that this horrible disgrace must be corrected. We are the voice of the voiceless.

In some situations a long-term care facility has one nursing technician to attempt to care for 25 residents.

Please, please take action. Our citizens deserve much better. Let the dialog begin.
