Trump’s Kool-Aid

A rebuttal to the letter, “Hard election lessons:”

1. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. The Democrats aren’t the only party with an incestuous relationship with the media. Fox News and the Republicans are just as incestuous.

2. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Tax avoidance, not paying contractors, shady “charity” contributions and paying to play with the mob. Trump will continue to do what Trump does because it’s embedded in his DNA.

3. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Trump’s gone after women, minorities, veterans and the disabled. Dozens of women have accused him of sexual misconduct. He thinks it’s acceptable to grab women because he’s famous.

4. Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t. The bureaucracy isn’t going to change for Trump. He’s going to fill the swamp with his own scaly reptiles. I’d rather have stuck with Hillary’s reptiles we knew than Trump’s we don’t.

Trump doesn’t have a plan for any of his promises, including bringing jobs back. I haven’t heard as bogus a promise since “Read my lips, no new taxes.” Trump made the Kool-Aid and people drank it.

For the sake of our country, I hope I’m wrong.
