Calling on Trump

Diversity and inclusion are not dismissed or finished — they have just begun.

A country divided will collapse at the hands of the real enemy outside the gates. Acts of violence toward minorities clothed under the Trump banner are and will always be acts of internal terrorism that tear the uniting fabric of American society.

This is an opportunity for President-elect Donald Trump to call on those inciting fear, promoting aggression and attacking other U.S. citizens and legal residents as “foreigners” or “different” to stop terrorizing their own home; to stop being internal terrorists, and to stop hate crimes.

It is a call to the police to step up to the higher calling of protecting and serving the communities which provide their livelihood; to incarcerate those writing hateful slanders and those who disturb our peace by acts of violence and hatred.

Tell those who are using your banner to terrorize this country that they will be prosecuted. Tell those who use your banner to inflict violence against those they perceive as “different” that they will be arrested.

This is an opportunity to show that you are not already failing as a leader before you get to office.
