Leave my paycheck alone

Senate Bill 6, clearly titled “Paycheck Protection” as a joke, is a pack of nonsense.

My mortgage can come out of my check; my car payment can come out of my check. Men have their wages garnisheed for child support.

So why make it more burdensome for me to designate that my union dues come out of my check? Aren’t I a grownup allowed to make my own decision?

Republicans constantly talk about government overreach. I guess they’re just projecting.
