Barr’s curious vote on health care
U.S. Rep. Andy Barr claims to be a fiscal conservative.
However, on Jan. 13, he voted to increase the U.S. debt by more than $9 trillion in the next decade as part of a strategy to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
This plan will not only take away health insurance from nearly 13,000 of his working-class and low-income constituents but also will cut taxes for couples earning more than $250,000 a year.
Just who is Barr working for? Not his constituents.
