Trumpcare not meant to help
Now that House Republicans have finally forced through Trumpcare, a bill so unhealthy and downright bad for average citizens, especially those with pre-existing conditions, maybe the Senate will find the courage to come up with something akin to Medicare for all.
If not, I predict Republicans will all be kicked out of office for their outright cruelty and lack of moral compass as soon as most Americans see Medicaid expansion end, others see their premiums go way up again, and those with pre-existing conditions find they can no longer afford insurance or that their state decided to drop them from pre-existing condition coverage because this bill gives states that flexibility.
The truth is, Trumpcare is not designed to help more people gain access to health care at less cost, but to take away the dollars needed for the health insurance subsidies so that the GOP can give big tax breaks to the rich. Perfect. Oh, and lets not forget that Trumpcare also ends Medicaid expansion by 2020. Everyone else is left to fend for themselves in the emergency rooms, again. What a disgrace.
