Wrong news priorities
On June 3, England suffered through a third terrorist attack in as many months, killing eight and injuring dozens. Was this front-page news in the Herald-Leader the next day?
No, indeed; the news story was on page five. The Herald-Leader’s front page (and page two) included one article bemoaning economic incentives for the Ark Encounter (complete with a huge picture) and another about lawyer Eric Conn slipping his ankle monitor and disappearing.
Somehow, I can’t see how these two articles garner front-page status.
