Save Social Security

Social Security is not an entitlement. Social Security was established as a stand-alone fund using money paid by Social Security taxes. This money was to be used only for Social Security payments.

Some years ago the government needed money, so Congress hijacked the Social Security fund and put it into the general fund. Your Social Security money is now being used to pay for whatever Congress wishes, especially the bloated Defense Department, which has wasted billions of dollars on the F-35 fighter that does not work.

When you hear U.S. Rep. Andy Barr or Sen. Mitch McConnell call Social Security an entitlement, it once again shows they do not know what they are talking about.
