Time precious to patients, too

As a 91-year-old man, I am realizing how precious the hours are in each day.

I’ve recently had too many occasions where I’m sitting in a doctor’s office waiting for more than an hour. The airlines are now punishing themselves when they make a mistake for overbooking flights. Doctors should likewise be punished for wasting patients’ time

How much do doctors make an hour? I’m certain my hour is more valuable than a doctor’s. I suggest they be required to give patients gift certificates or cash or some other valuable item as punishment. I’m open to other suggestions.

If wasting time is a sin in God’s eyes, then the doctors who aren’t mindful of our time should be concerned about making it to heaven.
