No mercy for Louisville
The Louisville basketball program, led by its defiling head coach Rick Pitino, should have received the NCAA death penalty.
When adults influence teenagers and youths a few years removed from being juveniles, these adults need to be charged with adult misconduct involving a child, and in incidents which involve sex, like this mess in Louisville, those adults should be charged with sexual misconduct involving a child.
These kids are handed over to adults who are supposed to look after their well-being and best interests while some are hundreds of miles from home. To be manipulated by adults to play sports for their universities that make millions off their skills is sickening, coupled with getting no compensation but concussions and torn knees.
In addition to the punishment, Pitino should be stripped of his Hall of Fame status and the responsible regents should bypass the athletic director’s discretion and fire Pitino.
