Letters to the Editor

Disappointed reader

It had been a while since I bought the Herald-Leader, so on June 4 I thought I’d give it another try. I sat down to read the news of the day.

What I found was a four-page front section that led with a creationist boondoggle of an ark and left the only two important news articles (about London terrorism and President Donald Trump’s plans) to the back pages. The Sports pages had more interesting articles than the news pages.

I know print news is having a hard time, but if all you can print are numerous ads, sports and a meager and poorly laid out news section, I can see why.

Please try to do better.
