Thanks for nothing

For three months, I called and emailed U.S. Rep. Andy Barr trying to get a tour of the White House. I got only one return call, and that was to get my information.

While in Washington, I talked to several people who got to tour the White House. One had called two weeks in advance; another a month. I tried for three months and got nothing.

I served in the military and was honorably discharged; I have no record, nothing that would keep me out of the White House – except inept politicians and their staffs who don’t care.
