Scrap heap of history
Jewish folks would never embrace relics, symbols or remnants from the holocaust. Sitting Bull’s ancestors would never allow remnants from Gen. George Armstrong Custer to be memorized in the form of a holiday.
Gov. Matt Bevin could use his personal funds to purchase the statues, and put them in the back yard of his newly purchased mansion. Better yet, invite black bidders only to Cheapside, the site that sold more slaves at auction then any other site in the south, auction the statues to them and let those bidders take the statues to a scrap yard. Slaves during that era were sold at auctions like scrap.
