Is Henry Clay next?

Well, since they’re going to move the statues from downtown, they might as well go south on Richmond Road and tear down Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate, because he was a slave owner, too. Clay owned at least 60 slaves, and he was a racist also, as were most 19th Century Americans. So, those 17 acres would make another park that we don’t need. Henry Clay is just one of many. So moving these statues will not change anything.
