Airlines inconvenience passengers
Airlines needs to learn how to help, not antagonize customers. I’m 89, and on a recent trip, the wheelchair that was supposed to be waiting for me at the gate wasn’t there.
I stood in line for 90 minutes to rebook a flight and to ask for a wheelchair. I had to wait more than an hour for my luggage to be unloaded. Does United care that someone in my family missed days of work to drop me off for and pick me up from my flight and were also inconvenienced by the delays?
They should consider letting rebookers take a number so they can sit down or get something to eat or use the facilities during their wait to be called.
