Who’s the liar?
President Donald J. Trump is a liar. So say many writers to and for this newspaper. Given that, who said the following?
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”
“If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.”
“The Benghazi terrorist attack was motivated by a Youtube video.”
“I didn’t call the Islamic State a ‘JV’ team.”
“Let me say this as plainly as I can. By Aug. 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end.”
“We have not had a major scandal in my administration.”
“We are now, for the first time ever, energy independent.”
“I never received nor sent any material that was marked classified on my private e-mail server.”
“Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people.”
“We now have more jobs in solar than we do in oil.”
“I was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person to climb Mount Everest.”
“We landed in Bosnia under sniper fire.”
“We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.”
Yet, Trump is a liar?
