Stop bad-mouthing; team shows great progress

Kentucky football fans have a short memory. No more than five years ago the Kentucky football team could not come within 50 points of Florida.

Saturday they outplayed Florida, had better players and lost by one point.

Now the fans are bad-mouthing Coach Mark Stoops. You have got to be kidding me.

Stoops has recruited the best players we have ever had and brought respectability back to Kentucky football. He has made mistakes. This is his first head-coaching job and he is doing a good job. Give the man time to learn from his mistakes. Maybe we don’t deserve a good coach like Stoops. If you look hard, you can find another Joker Phillips.
