Great special-needs camp

Fayette County Parks and Recreation deserves to be recognized for its summer therapeutic camp. I have a grandson with autism who attended for the first time this year.

What a welcome service for the special-needs population. The exceptional and caring staff is well-versed in interacting with the campers on an individual basis. He loved attending and still talks about the camp experience.

Upon learning about the camp, I traveled from Frankfort daily so he could benefit from the program and it was worth every mile. Fayette County has a jewel in the parks and rec program and the caring staff who work there.
