Thanks to care providers

I recently had my first experience as an emergency room patient and subsequently as an admitted patient in the hospital. I was scared and did not know what to expect.

I was struck by the compassion, professionalism and knowledge that surrounded me during my stay. Each encounter I had with a surgeon, anesthesiologist, physician, physician’s assistant, nurse or aide left me with a sense of peace that I did not know was possible in the hospital.

I want to thank the staff of Baptist Health Lexington and all those who dedicate their lives to the medical field. What you do does not go unnoticed.

Shelley Stanko Denton
