Pitino woes predictable

Shocked? Who did not see University of Louisville basketball Coach Rick Pitino going down in flames of some form years ago? Columnist John Clay appears to be the only one.

Pitino’s troubles at the University of Kentucky are legendary. Arrogance and pride often lead to a great fall. Clay sure missed this one.

University of Kentucky fans should not get too convinced that we have no problems. Remember our head coach has a less than lovely record at his two previous coaching positions.

All of this is not surprising, with sports being a business that carries lots of money for lots of people. The FBI and government officials had an easy job: just follow the money. More problems probably lie ahead.
