Why not the Kentucky Horse Park for the John Hunt Morgan statue?
Well, still on public land. Some seem to really have a problem with that. It will not change history. It still happened. Is a mounted statue really a qualifier for the Horse Park? And that bit about women and little girls, that has me stymied. Historians know Morgan usually rode a mare and the statue is a boy, so why bring gender into the matter? Anatomical correctness is not my primary point; besides, Lassie was played by a male collie. Maybe Black Bess was having a bad day when the artist was working on that part of the statue.
