No abortion ban in Ky.
Gov. Matt Bevin is trying to ban abortion in Kentucky. But a legal precedent in a Texas case struck the requirement for abortion providers to have admitting privileges at hospitals. If the Louisville clinic wins its case, it might reopen other abortion clinics in Kentucky.
Bevin’s threat to cut off funding to the University of Louisville is clearly outside the law.
