Political dark side showing in Alabama

What we are seeing in the Alabama race for the U.S. Senate is the dark side of business ethics being applied to politics.

In business, for so many organizations around the world, the goal is beating the competition at all costs. It does not matter what you have to do or how disreputable or dubious it is, just as long as the outcome is secured. Right does not matter. Wrong does not matter. The only thing that matters is corporate Darwinism.

Our president does not care how smelly the frog is he has to kiss, just as long as kissing that odoriferous amphibian yields a desired goal. Yes, hopping in bed with an alleged pedophile may not be one’s cup of tea, but beating the Democrats at all costs is so sweet and worth the warts, which will probably fade away as time passes anyway.

Business for so many executives has no ethics to it whatsoever. It’s all about my desires over everything. Who cares how many get hurt and what the damage is just as long as I win? It’s all about me.
