What are we going to do?

More shootings, more death, more threats; what are we going to do?

More sorrow, more loss, more despair; what are we going to do?

Be it horrific bloodshed, words that can lead to war or bitter tweets, texts and name calling: Isn’t it time we begin to respect each other instead of denigrating entire groups of people? Time to be grateful for this country in the whole instead of trying to be divided each unto his own, practicing patience and extending understanding person to person?

That’s how it has to start. One person to one person. Then pass it on to another person and another.

We have a guide for all of this. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” It is as simple and as complex as that.
