I don’t know about you, but I was really annoyed to read about how often the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee had called Mayor Jim Gray urging him to run against Republican Andy Barr.

First, Gray doesn’t need the money; he is a millionaire. Second, there are three individuals who have been campaigning long before Gray decided to do us this favor, and they are most certainly not millionaires or anything close to it. These Democrats deserve it just as much as Gray, if not more so.

The campaign committee should butt out of our affairs. Stop prejudging who is the best candidate; several thousand activists in the 6th Congressional District will do that. The party did a miserable job the last time we voted. Absolutely no funding for candidate Nancy Jo Kemper. Jeez, talk about arrogance.
