Callers talk too fast on messages

Why is it that some who call and leave a message on your recorder talk so fast it is hard to understand them? I have had to replay the recorder two or three times to understand the message.

This is very stressful, especially for older people and those with hearing problems. Some of these incoming calls may be about health-related issues and are very important.
