Medicare for all? Who pays?
A local physician and letter writer repeatedly espouses Medicare for everybody, always failing to mention how it is to be financed. He also proposes that it would lower the cost of auto, homeowners’ and workman’s compensation insurance and even property taxes. He ignores one time-honored incontrovertible certainty: There is no such thing as a free lunch.
