No opinions on front page

It is somewhat ironic that your new slogan is “Journalism that makes a difference,” yet you push as news clear opinions like those of columnist Tom Eblen.

In one sentence, he claims that Sen. Mitch McConnell’s push for a conservative justice will dictate the “rule of law” for years to come, and the next claims the court is “rigging the federal judiciary in favor of big business and right-wing ideology.”

The law is the law. Just because the left does not like it does not make is corrupt. Just like putting this on your front page does not make it news, but opinion — and certainly not “journalism that makes a difference.”
