I don’t pretend to know the answer to the current immigration problems, but have been considering some of the aftermath that may follow.

After the questionable reasons for starting the war in Iraq and the continuing war in Afghanistan, the damage we have done to both countries has been disastrous to those who live there and I am sure leaves a bitter taste of anger. Many of our veterans lost their lives or have been seriously injured, but some of the violence and mayhem in our country since then may have had a causal relationship.

I wonder if the recent immigration snafus will result in more negative memories by those people from the southern countries who have been affected by what is happening to them or their children. I sincerely hope our government finds a fair and just decision. If not, we may experience more violence in the future.
