Nonsense need not be imagined. We are surrounded by it. It is free.
Huge amounts of nonsense are found on every side, on almost any issue: politics, economics, religion, sports. All available to citizens around the clock. One may live on a steady diet of make-believe.
How much nonsense can the public bear? Tests show people have a limitless need for fiction. This is because they know more nonsense is coming and they are eager to know what’s next. Thus, nonsense has no limits. Humans love mysterious claptrap, spectacular bluster and impossible dreams.
