Inmates in charge
The election of Barack Obama woke up the morons who seemed to be surprised that such a thing were possible. The GOP leadership made the decision to take advantage of this awakening by pandering to the morons. Their strategy backfired when the inmates took over the asylum and replaced them with moronic leadership of their own.
It is unclear whether the GOP will survive this miscalculation. The larger question is whether our two-party system can survive with a single rational party.
