Veteran well treated

I would like to express my appreciation and respect for the nurses and staff members at the Veterans Wellness Center on Leestown Road. My father was a resident there for a few months until his recent death. I know he was a difficult patient at times, but his occasional tantrums were always met with compassion and a smile.

The nurses were always generous with their time in addressing my questions, and I appreciated their phone calls to update me on his condition or to offer helpful advice.

I hope other families that find themselves in similar trying circumstances will also take a moment to express their gratitude to these consummate professionals who work in this difficult and demanding environment.
